Dogs Around 04:12
Staggering around like dogs, barking, they don’t even can find their bones. Staggering around like dogs, moaning, they won’t even really pay off loans. Squeezing all their minds like frogs, groaning, you won’t even pull out one drop. Squeezing all their minds like frogs, wailing, you don’t even clean out their bygone.

Forty-One 04:19
When all is lost or direful, ships have two options drifting around or sailing back for a safe-guard with the sea on its stern, ‘cause escape is often the only way to keep your love as safe as all is lost or direful, ships have two options drifting around or sailing back for a safe-guard with the sea on its stern, ‘cause escape is always the only way. The only way is escape. When all it’s all. Well, all in all.

Posto 7 03:57
I feel I’ll be somewhere near the dock. Maybe I’ll read… the line is so beautiful. I’ll eat just painfulness and thoughts. Maybe I’ll feed… the line is still beautiful. Lost in a place where nobody raises your fall, lost in a way where the danger is out to come, catch me and take me home. I blame the sun at noon which burns. You’ll see on my skin… your line is so beautiful. I blame the sights of those who turn. You’ll see, I’m not keen… your line is still beautiful. Nobody cares, just another day is done. Nobody cares, just another day is gone. Catch me and take me home.

Mockin' 04:09
When the summer makes me homesick, oh my, in the city there’re no spaces for mine. Naked feet on broken glasses, oh my, break my silence with your whispers for mine. Well, what I call home is my stateless sweet love.

Let the sound create new waves, let it bulge and gather weight howling resonating blare. Tuning differently my guitar makes me reach new hills and, in the middle, that’s your farm.

Daylord I 02:58
Day. The daylight, suddenly, chases us: it takes us where we do not want to go. It veils our eyes, it takes our breath away: it takes us where we do not want to go. Here’s the sun, the sun is the wonderment. Here’s the sun, we’re tired thus we obey. The evening comes to stay and feeds on us.

Music: Jurenito.

Lyrics: Umberto Bellodi [aka Jurenito] and Valentina Zanzi [aka v.]. “Forty-one” is freely inspired by Henri Laborit’s “Éloge de la fuite”. “Daylord I” is freely inspired by Puccio Chiesa’s “Honda Dodò, caffè e ammazzacaffè”.

Jurenito plays: vocals, acoustic and electric guitars, 6-strings banjo, Weissenborn guitar, lap steel electric guitars, bass, keyboards, harmonica, percussions and programming.

Cover design: v. on a Rebecca Zoe Bellodi’s drawing.

Thanks to the tons of music I’ve been listening to during the last year, especially by: Neil Young, Gene Clark, Kurt Wagner, Luther Dickinson, Justin Vernon, Jerry Garcia (among others). “Mockin’” was inspired by Marco “Mock” Zanzi and Greg Harris’ 2015 Italian tour. “A-Song For David” was inspired by (and dedicated to) Mr David Crosby.

Recorded, mixed and mastered in winter/spring 2018 at the Arata Recording House, Italy.
